Add fonts to Adobe Document
Services
Adobe Document Services or
ADS, is responsible for generating PDF forms designed in SAP Adobe Live Cycle
Designer using tcode SFP.
To install new fonts,
follow the below procedure:
1. Create a subdirectory called fonts below the /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/FontManagerService directory, if it doesn’t
exist.
2. Create a subdirectory called customer below the fonts directory created in the previous step, if it doesn’t exist.
3. Copy your fonts into the /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/FontManagerService/fonts/customer directory.
4. Ensure that the <sid>adm user has read+write
permission for the directory /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/FontManagerService/fonts/customer.
5. Restart the following services for the changes to take
effect or retart ADS application server:
a. Document Services Font Manager
b. XML Form Module
6.
In the SAP NetWeaver Administrator, restart the application
com.adobe/AdobeDocumentServices for the changes
to take effect.
